AFRO GLORY is a blog that helps to celebrate the black British woman through sharing her natural hair journey and expressing her love for the black afro hair.

Q1. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?

Kinkyamiee: my favorite quote is 'if you want to be somebody, you must wake up and pay attention' - it means that i must work hard to be the person i want to be. Whenever i feel down or lazy, i remember this quote and the height i want to get to, i sit up.

Q2. WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE BLOGGING MOMENT SO FAR?
Kinkyamiee: well, i haven't had much favourite moments but the moments i spend twitting with my online influencers has helped inspire me, I hope to meet more and experienced bloggers.

Q3. WHICH BLOGGER WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK WITH IN A COLLABORATION AND WHY? (Tag them so they know).
Kinkyamiee: hmm....I have many bloggers that I would like to work with but at the moment I would love to do a collaboration with @igbocurls she been my inspiration since day 1!I hope to meet and connect with more people online.

Q4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEAL?
Kinkyamiee: hmm... My favorite food is jollof rice with beef. My mum made me love this food because she cooks it so well.

Q5. YOU'VE WON AN ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP FOR 2 WEEKS TO A TRAVEL DESTINATION OF YOUR CHOICE! WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
Kinkyamiee: wow! I have always wanted to travel to okinawa island in japan, spending my 2 weeks eating in their amazing cuisine and seeing all the amazing features will be the best holiday of my life.

Q5. WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO BLOG?
Kinkyamiee: there are a few things that motivates me to blog but i would say that the fact that i could be of help to people with my knowledge and skills, that i inspire queens like myself to grow there natural hair and embrace it.

Q8. WHAT IS YOUR MANTRA?
Kinkyamiee: my mantra is a very simple and positive one, "its nice". I like to say that to myself whenever i feel like i am loosing my confidence, when i feel people wouldn't like my post, it helps me create a sense of calmness and courage.

Q9. TELL 3 THINGS YOU LOVE ABOUT YOURSELF.
Kinkyamiee: I LOVE MY HAIR!!! I love that i am able to motivate queens to grow their natural hair and i love that i am confidence.

Kinkyamiee: yea....Girl Boss by Sophia Amoruso, (now i know it same book Afro Glory loves) but i must say i love this book, this book has helped me to stay strong and focus, it has motivated me to work hard and never give up on my dreams, so i recommend this book to new bloggers.

Kinkyamiee: that would be @igbocurls she has been my biggest motivator and influencer.

DIY DEEP CONDITIONERS FOR NATURAL HAIR.

I have been carrying my natural hair for close to 9months, I never believe I could carry it this long but as a Hair Therapist, I conquered it. I discovered three DIY conditioners that works best on my hair and helped keep my hair soft and moisturized, so I will be sharing these recipes to all my curly friends especial those in their transitioning stage. DIY means 'Do It Yourself', so these are conditioners that you can do by yourself and you can find the ingredients easily. 1. AVOCADO MASK. This mask helps to keep the hair shiny and soft, it penetrates the hair shaft making it moisturized. Items used:   * Avocado   * banana   * coconut oil (or olive oil, any oil that works well on your hair). Blend avocado, banana and coconut oil very well until the chunks are not seen, apply to the hair strands and cover with a shower cap or nylon cap, leave for 20minutes and then rinse with water. 2. My Natural Hair Regime.

The first thing i like to do on my wash day is the  pre-poo,  my hair love coconut oil  and thats what i use for it, most times when i want to do a hot oil treatment, i mix it with Extra virgin olive oil. For my  detangling, i prefer to first finger detangle then use a wide tooth comb to remove the knots (cos i detect them) before shampooing  or co-washing , then i proceed to wash my hair in about 6 chunky twists. I have made it mandatory to deep condition  my hair on every wash day for about twenty to thirty minutes OR i leave it for hours if my hair needs extra attention. After which i follow with Apple Cider Vinegar rinse (ACV). Next i apply my leave-in conditioner and seal the moisture with an  oil. I do wash my hair every once in two weeks because of my busy schedules and it takes me two and half hours with the current length of my hair which i think is okay.
