Determining your hair's porosity is the key to having a good hair routine and discovering the moisture products that will work or not work on your hair. Today I will be sharing with you, all you need to know about hair porosity and how to take the test. What is hair porosity? This is the ability of your hair to take in moisture, water, color or any liquid. Although, it exists in three levels ~high, normal and low but we naturals categorize our tresses under high and low. High porosity hair typically feels like sand paper, this is as a result of damages from chemical processing, rough treatment or environmental damage.
